Anthony J. DeCecco, Jr

President of Tennis Addiction Sports Club

Anthony has been teaching tennis in Chester County for over 30 years. He is a Middle States Sectional Vice President of the USPTA, certified P1 by the USPTA, P by the PTR and a national NTRP verifier. He is president and founding member of Tennis Addiction and enjoys his family; wife Betsy, son Luc (11), and daughter Isabel (9). He is dedicated to reaching as many individuals as possible through the lifetime sport of tennis: The Greatest of All Sports .

Elizabeth (Betsy) DeCecco

Club Manager

Betsy is the Front Desk Manager and has been at Tennis Addiction for 21 years. She is a graduate of West Chester University and has extensive experience in retail. She is head buyer for Tennis Addiction's Pro Shop, home of the area's best selection of men's and women's tennis apparel. She has two beautiful children, Luc (11), and Isabel (9). Betsy is an ambassador for the sport of Tennis.

Wasyl has been teaching tennis in Chester County for 20 years. He is a certified PTR and USPTA. Wasyl attended Lasalle University and played #1 Singles and Doubles. He enjoys music and golf and has been a part of Team Tennis Addicition for 17 years.

Mary Ellen (Cookie) has been with Tennis Addiction for 12 years. She is a certified USPTA & USPTR teaching professional and is deeply involved in the Pro Shop buying and Front Desk operations. I enjoy teaching in our junior program and I am dedicated to the sharing my enthusiam and love of the sport of tennis to our kids and adults alike. Cookie enjoys her family; husband Joe, and daughters Jaime and Ashley. She loves teaching children and is an avid player.

Matt Bonds

PTR Tennis Professional

As a PTR certified pro, Matt has been teaching at Tennis Addiction for 7 years.  He teaches children of all ages, and also has experience giving lessons to adults.  Several of his students have had success playing at the varsity level for their respective high school teams, and many of them have attained USTA rankings in Middle States.  As a 4.5 rated player, he won the doubles Tennis Addiction Pro-Am in 2008.   Matt is a High School English Teacher at West Chester East High School.  He enjoys spending time with his wife, Allison and his three children Julia, Jackson, and Dylan. He is dedicated to helping players of all ages become better players and develop a passion for the game.

Celes Panichelli

Bishop Shanahan Girls/Boys Varsity Tennis Coach

Celes has been teaching at Tennis Addiction for over 10 years.  She is a USPTA/PTR certified teaching Pro, high school coach and advid player.  A USTA 4.5 rated player, who has competed at several local, district, sectional, national championships and a three time national qualifier. Bringing her love of the game to children and adults of all levels and ages is her greatest joy.  Celes enjoys spending time with her husband Jerry and her daughters Gina and twins Valeri and Victoria.

Mike Simonetti

Mike has been at Tennis Addiction since 1977 shortly after he moved here from New York. After Graduating with an Engineering degree from CCNY he discovered the “game” and it diverted all his attention from other sports in pursuit of excelling in playing Tennis. Since that time he has won dozens of tournaments, holding Middle States ranking multiple times including #1 in various categories and age divisions. His goal now is to impart his enthusiasm and expertise of tennis to young and mature, serious and casual students alike.

Andi Beth Sutcliffe

Controller/Massage Therapist

Andi has been with Tennis Addiction for 14 years, she is Fitness instructor, Personal Trainer, Massage Therapist Controller, and oversees general club operations. Andi is ACE, YogaFit, and NDEITA certified. She teaches Yoga and Pilates as well as Personal Trains clients in the newly renovated fitness center. Andi is an avid tennis player and enjoys golfing and being outdoors. Andi and her husband Dave have just welcomed their son Dane to the Tennis Addiction family.

Jody Yatcilla 

Front Desk Operations/Customer Relations

Jody has been part of the Tennis Addiciton Family for 8 years. She has an elementary education degree from West Chester University. She is very involved in Front Desk operations, pro shop and customer relations. Jody enjoys her family; husband John, daughter Cassie, son Tim, and daughter Grace. Tara Wood

Marketing Manager and Group Fitness Instructor

Tara has been a member of the Team Tennis Addiction family for 4 years. She has experience in advertising and marketing. She is a graduate of Elon University in North Carolina with a degree in Business Marketing. Tara worked in advertising for Main Line Today Magazine and marketing for Duke's Firehose Company. She enjoys spending time with her family; husband John, son Cooper and daughter Scarlett.

Ryan G Gargullo

Ryan Gargullo began coaching tennis in 1996 as a leader of Junior Development Tennis Program at the University of Pennsylvania’s Levy Tennis Pavilion.  He has been certified by Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) since 2001 with a Professional Instructor Rating. In 2003, Ryan became a head coach of St. Joseph’s Prep High School Boys’ Tennis Team which successfully led to Catholic League Championship.  He also coached two players who played on Division One College Teams.  Ryan participated at a collegiate level as Volunteer Assistant of the University of Pennsylvania Men’s Tennis Team from 2003 to 2005, and in 2006, he was an assistant coach of LaSalle University Women’s Tennis Team.  Currently, he is working as an assistant coach at Chestnut Hill College for both Men and Women’s Teams. During his career at Chestnut Hill College, both Men and Women Teams made to various conference championships.

 

Ryan graduated from LaSalle University in 2002 with dual degree in Elementary and Special Education.  Throughout his four years of college at LaSalle University, not only did Ryan play at number one singles and doubles, but he was also a Captain for Men’s Tennis Team for four years straight.  Also, Ryan was 3 Time Athlete All-Academic Team at LaSalle University and achieved both sectional and national rankings as Junior Player.  Furthermore, in May of 2011, Ryan was recognized as a top 10 ranked Middle States player in the Men’s Open Division.  In addition, Ryan was a major contributor as a player to the 2011 Middle States 4.5 Team that won the National Championship.
