Session IV: April 11-June 12
QuickStart is a method of teaching tennis which has been used for years in Europe. Pros on tour today, including Roger Federer, were taught using this program. For young people to be attracted to and succeed in a sport, the equipment, playing area, and competitive structure need to be appropriate. QuickStart tennis includes 6 specifications, including age, court size, racquet length, ball weight and speed, net height and scoring format. This enables juniors to practice and play real tennis to scale and allow them to play and learn at the same time as opposed to the traditional model of learning skills before playing the game. Since rallying and playing is much more fun than standing in a line children will want to learn the game and develop the skills necesary. Cost $185 pre-paid.
