Academy Program
T.A.P. stands for tennis Addiction Philosophy and it connects everything we do from teaching tennis to interacting with the students to educating the parents. We train our juniors to make a difference in the world on and off the court.
T.A.P. method of teaching philosophy incorporates the USTA method of Instruction blending with the Spanish Style of Play. Anthony has studied under some of the most recognized tennis pros including Emilio Sanchez-Vicario, Pscar Wenger and Scott Nichol. Currently, david DiLucia, former touring pro and coach of Linsay Davenport, is a wealth of experience for his years with the USTA training the top 20 juniors in the USA.

A Typical Day
- 8:45am: Report to Site
- 9:00am: Warm Up
- 9:15am: Dead Ball Drills, Live Ball Drills, Theme Based Games
- 11:15am: Point Play
- 12:00pm: Lunch
- 1:00pm: Theme Based Drills
- 2:30pm: Match Play
Camp Tuition
Weekly Rates: Before May 1, 2012
- Full Day (9:00-3:00pm): $375/week
- AM Session (9:00am-12:00pm): $250/week
- PM Session (1:00pm-3:00pm): $175/week
Weekly Rates: After May 1, 2012
- Full Day: $395/week
- Am Session: $275/week
- Pm Session: $185/week
Daily Rates:
- 1 Day (9:00am-3:00pm): $90/day
- 1 Morning (9:00am-12:00): $60/day
- 1 Afternoon (1:00pm-3:00pm): $40/day
Any child attending a whole day (9:00 - 3:00) will receive lunch.
A $50 deposit is due at the time you sign up to hold your spot during the week of your choice.
Any child attending a whole week will receive a Tennis Addiction T-Shirt.
Junior Team Tennis
Why should you choose Tennis Addiction for your Child? Our staff has the highest USPTA, PTR, QuickStart and High Performance Certifications. Our program includes technical training, strategy and tactics, strength and conditioning, video analysis and mental toughness.
TA Boys and Girls Champions! Tennis Addiction is Defending Champions in both the boys and girls Suburban League and the USTA/Middle States Sectional Champion in the 12-U age group. We play rain or shine on 12 outdoor and 5 indoor courts. We love kids and are recognized as the top Junior Tennis Academy in Chester County!
2012 QuickStart Summer Academy
Weekly from June 11 - August 17
What is QuickStart Tennis?
QuickStart is a method of teaching tennis which has been used for years in Europe. Pros on tour today, including Roger Federer, were taught using this program. For young people to be attracted to and succeed in a sport, the equipment, playing area, and competitive structure need to be appropriate.
QuickStart tennis includes 6 specifications, including age, court size, racquet length, ball weight and speed, net height and scoring format. This enables juniors to practice and play real tennis to scale and allow them to play and learn at the same time as opposed to the traditional model of learning skills before playing the game. Since rallying and playing is much more fun than standing in a line children will want to learn the game and develop the skills necesary.
Daily Activities Include:
- Stroke Production
- Hand Eye Coordination
- Footwork and Agility Game
- Snacks
- Fun and Prizes
*Highlights Include - Watermelon Wednesday, Game Day Friday, Pros vs Joes, Dodgeball, Kickball, Singles and Doubles Tournaments, Video Analysis, Water Ice Breaks, and Team Matches.

Elite Training Summer Academy
Our new Invitation Only program developed to train advanced juniors who are competing in USTA Tournaments and have a DR and SR ranking. This program will focus on dynamic stretching, footwork, physical fitness, spanish drills, live ball point play, match play and mental toughness. Tennis Addiction Summer Academy Pro Staff
Anthony J. DeCecco Jr. - A UPTA and PTR certified pro. Anthony is the Vice President of the Philadelphia Section of USPTA Middle States. He attended the USPTA Competitive Player Development Conference in December 2009 at the Sanchez - Casal Academy and is certified in the Spanish Way of Developing Players.
Wasyl Manko - A USPTA and PTR certified pro as well as a USRSA certified stringer. Wasyl has been teaching tennis in Chester County for 20 years. He attended LaSalle Univeristy and played #1 Singles and Doubles.
Matt Bonds - A PTR certified pro that has been teaching tennish in Chester County for 10 years. Matt is one of the coaches for the Junior Tennis Team at TASC.
Tammy Harris - A USPTA certified tennis pro with 15 years teaching experience with juniors at Tennis Addiciton. She played singles and doubles for Gettysburg College, qualifying for nationals. Tammy currently plays USTA and Del-Tri tennis.
Jared Howat - A USPTA certified pro with 4 years teaching TASC Junior Summer Academy. Jared has been playing tennis for 16 years and was ranked as high as 50 in Middle States. He also played singles and doubles at East Stroudsburg University.
Cookie Maranella - A USPTA and PTR certified tennis pro that has been teaching tennis in Chester County for 12 years.
Celes Panichelli - A USPTA and PTR certified pro that been teaching tennis in Chester County forever. She is the Bishop Shanahan High School Boys and Girls Tennis Coach as well as a coach for a Junior Team at TASC.
Jeff Rightenour - A PTR certified pro who has been teaching with TASC for 2 years. Jeff has played junior tennis competitively holding ranking at the sectional and national level. He currently attends West Chester Univeristy whe he plays varsity singles and doubles.
Mike Simonetti - A PTR certified pro that has been teaching in Chester County since 1977. Mike has held Middle States rankings including #1 in various categories and age divisions.
